Obituary of Barbara Ann Kuhn

Barbara Ann Kuhn, 80, passed away on May 5, 2020 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Born in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky on September 24, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Lillian Harley Overstreet. Barbara was a native and lifetime resident of Anderson County, Kentucky where she graduated High School. She was married to the father of the four children, Billy Noel, for 15 years before he passed away in a car accident; and then married the late Roger Kuhn, who she was married to for 35 years, and together they raised a child. One of Barbara’s first jobs was at Edwards Sausage, then later taking a job with the State as a Secretary in Military Records where she retired from. Barbara was a member of the Womens Auxillary and the Fellowship Baptist Church. Barbara loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her great great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing, watching Louisville Basketball and playing games (Bingo, Yahtzee, scrabble and any card games). Barbara is survived by her daughters, Gayle (Marty) Fitzgerald, Sherrie (Mona) Robinson, Rhonda (Teddy) Peach and Tabitha (Danny) Kuhn; her son, Dennis Noel; her brother, Glenn Overstreet; her 14 grandchildren; her 24 great-grandchildren; and her 2 great great-grandchildren She is preceeded in death by her parents, Melvin and Lillian Harley Overstreet; her first husband, Billy Noel; and her past husband, Roger Kuhn. There will be a private service and graveside for the family The service will be streamed on Saffell House Funeral Home’s facebook for those who wish to be apart of that with the family from your homes. The live stream will begin at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2020. Carl Jones will be officiating the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Saffell House Funeral Home.
