Obituary of David Drury

David Delayne Drury, 48, passed away May 7, 2019. He was born in Woodford County on April 2, 1971 to Edwin Carroll ( Mildred W.) Drury and the late Patricia Wright.

He is survived by his wife of twenty five years, Edna Meece Drury, five children; David Cory Drury, Jessica Nicole Billings, Terri, Sally and Troy Thornton, eleven grandchildren, his father, Edwin Carroll ( Mildred W.) Drury, three brothers; Eddie ( Lisa) Drury, James ( Christy) Drury and Danny Drury, one sister, Missy ( Buzz) Evans. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents; Lillard Thomas and Evelyn Wright.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Wright and maternal grandmother, Ann Holland. his paternal grandparents, J.C and Leavie Leathers Drury.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday May 11, 2019 at Saffell House Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Workman officiating with burial following in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday May 10, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at Saffell House Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are; David Cory Drury, Eddie Drury, James Drury, Danny Drury, Troy Thornton and Doug Wilson. Honorary bearers are; Kevin Mitchell, Kelly Mitchell, Darrell Crowe, J.R. Griffin and Chris Genton.
