Audrey, my heart, my only daughter, my love. You left us broken, and defeated.
You asked me over, and over, Mom would you die for anyone. I did not respond. You said, I would, because I love God that much, and I am not afraid to die.
Oh you fought a good fight, though the highs, and the lows, and the suffering in your mind which was very real.You wanted to be married, but like so many women your emotions ran wild. You say all persons with rosy colored glasses. You were perfect , and thank you for being my child.I will find justice for you, my love. Owen asked if you were in heaven and I said yes. Hi, I met Audrey at the battered women shelter. She held me all night after I had been brutally beat up. It is horrible that this as early thing happened to her. SHE GAVE ME ALL OF HER MO NY ANDCLOTHES.I thought I met an angel. She lifted my esteem so I could leave a batterer. She was beat to deathey this monster! Please, someone help complete her cause for women, especially in some Tex. Die and get beat up. LOVE YOU Audrey

Dear Audrey,
You always were so bright and your humour never failed to delight,especially your "white haired Papaw"(Dr. Gilbert). He loved to exchange tales of your mischief with his friend and your other grandpa, Dr.Swartz. You brought so much joy to all with your beautiful smiles, and unbounded energy. You will never be forgotten by all those you have touched and especially those that you counseled with such compassion and empathy. You were a devoted and loving Mom, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin. You are a shining example of what is best in humanity and you died believing you could change someone with your love. You are a martyr for your belief of God and courageously suffered and died trying to rid evil in your path for love. We will never forget and are so much more due to your life.

As I sit here this morning I am in tears for all the family members. Liz, Tom, and the twins, and Audrey I have known them since the kids were little children. Wish I could be there with all of you but my heart is with you. Liz, I would like you to know that today I will be holding your hand and sharing your love for your beautiful daughter. Audrey was a beautiful young lady and so much to give to this world. Her love will always be here. She will live on inside our hearts. Her son, Owen, will always be there for you to cherish her love for her. Our great savior, Jesus, will be with each one of you as the days follow. A new day will come and remember always you are not alone. You can call on me any time and we can share tears, laughter, and joy. This is a passage John in the Bible:
