Obituary of Cheryl Kirby Cook

Cheryl Kirby Cook, 70, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017. She was born in Dayton, OH on January 14, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Clayton Ellsworth Kirby and Alberta Francis Bransome Butler.

 Cheryl was originally from Lexington, KY where she spent the majority of her life; then moving to Frankfort, KY where she was currently living close to her daughter, Christa Cook Queen. She really enjoyed the company of her best friend/ dog, Zeus. Cheryl was preceded in death by her Parents, Clayton Ellsworth Kirby and Alberta Francis Bransome Butler. Cheryl is survived by her Daughter, Christa Cook Queen; her Grand-Daughter, Alaina Swietzer; her Sister, Jennifer Chisman; her Brother, George Kirby; and her ex-husband and best friend, Chad Cook. A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Cheryl’s life Friday, March 17, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Capitol City Christian Church in Frankfort, KY.
