Obituary of Lillie Mae Carroll
Lillie Mae Powell Caroll, 93,of Lawrenceburg, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017. Ms. Carroll was the wife of the late James William Carroll. She was born in Rockcastle County on September 28, 1923 to the late Gentry Powell and Katherine Griffith Powell. She lived most of her life in Salvisa.
Ms. Carroll is survived by one son, William Carroll; two daughters, Betty Carroll and Catherine Riley; three step-daughters, Millie Hensley, Delilah Malone and Mary Cox.
She is predeceased by her husband, James William Carroll; six step-daughters, Gertrude Lesher, Norma Randell, Marie Yancy, Hazel Lindsay, Cora Carroll and Ruth Carroll; two step-sons, James Carroll and Henry Carroll.
A Private Burial will take place at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Saffell House Funeral Home.
