Obituary of Michael Lee Jewell

Michael Lee Jewell, 66, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024. He was born on September 14, 1957, to his late parents, Ronald Lee and Eleanor Jamison Jewell. Michael was married to his wife, Ada Faye Hollon Jewell.

Originally born in Mt. Eden, Kentucky, Michael spent his life in Taylorsville and later Frankfort. He graduated from Taylorsville High School. Michael belonged to the Baptist Faith and was a Free Mason. He loved hunting, fishing, building derby mowers and showing chickens at the chicken shows.

Michael is lovingly remembered and survived by his wife; Ada Jewell; sons, Patrick Jewell (Jessica) and Blake Jewell; siblings, David Thomas Jewell (Susie), Carol Barnes (David), Betty Goodlett (Doug), Tracy Berger (Jim), and Stacy Clemens (John); and 9 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 11-1 at Valley Cemetery Chapel in Taylorsville, KY. The Funeral Service will be immediately following on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 1 p.m.

Pallbearers will be David Jewell, David Barnes, Joey Johnson, Doug Goodlett, Jeremy Barnes, and Patrick Jewell.

Honorary Pallbearers will be John Clemens, Jim Berger, and Blake Jewell.
