Obituary of Lola Amanda Gibson

Lola “Pixie” Trusty Gibson, age 76, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023. She was born on August 31, 1946 to the late Alvin and Goldia Conley Trusty. She was married to her loving husband, Sterling Gibson. 

Pixie loved cooking and shopping. She was a wonderful cook who kept their whole street fed well with her lovely prepared meals.

Pixie is survived by her husband, Sterling Gibson; children, Laura Lynn Dyson (John) and Scott Sterling Gibson (Coleen); eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Judy and Karen Trusty; and brother, David Trusty.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m. at Saffell House Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 immediately following the funeral service.

C.J. Murray will be officiating the service.
