Obituary of Shirley Jean Cornish
Shirley Jean “Foster” Cornish, 76, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. She was born in Versailles, Ky to the late Woodrow Samuel and Mary Katherine “Poole” Foster. Shirley was married to her husband, Gerald Cornish.
Shirley was a resident of Lawrenceburg, Ky. She was a member of the Anderson County Senior Citizens Center and the Salt River Baptist Church.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Gerald Cornish; daughter, Laura Faye Quire; sons, Kenneth Wayne Blackburn and Stephen Ray Blackburn; sister, Gloria Arbadella; brother, John William Foster; grandchildren, Kelley Gulliam, Melanie Blackburn, Tiffany Blackburn, Valerie Vance, Zachary Vance, and Chelsey Jenkins; and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Logan, Reagan, Jenzen, Elora, Kylie, and Jameson.
There are no services planned at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Saffell House Funeral Home.
