Obituary of Glenn Lee Overstreet

Glenn Lee Overstreet Sr., 68 , passed away July 7, 2021 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born November 13, 1952 in Frankfort to the late Lillian and Melvin Overstreet. He was a graduate of Anderson County High School Class of 1970. He was a talented bass player and singer, playing with various musicians and bands from age 16 on. He owned and showed numerous hot rods, He loved fishing, He loved passing the time at Dialysis playing bubbles on his IPad, spending time with his family his dog (Puddles), and was a member of the St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Goldie & James Harley Sr., his fraternal grandparents Nora & Norman Overstreet, his parents Lillian & Melvin Overstreet, One sister Barbara Kuhn, an unborn child, and One Brother-in-law Bobby Nalley. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Patricia Nalley Overstreet, his three children Kim Overstreet Cinnamon, Amber Overstreet, and Glenn Lee Overstreet Jr.(Chay Morrison), his grandchildren Tessa (Dalton) Brown, Austin (Caitlin) Crowe, and his three great grandchildren Noah, Dewayne, and Lylah, all of Lawrenceburg, a Mother & Father-in-law Judy & Borgia Nalley of Bardstown, and a host of many other family members. The Visitation will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. at Saffell House Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with burial to follow at Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glenn Overtsreet, Jr., Austin Crowe, Gary Harmon, Andy Palmer, James Ritchey, Teddy Peach, Marty Harley and Borgia Nalley. Honory Pallbearers will be Terry Taylor, Thomas Taylor, Jeremy Thurman and Adam Fulkerson. In lieu of Flowers or gifts, the family has requested contributions to be made to Saffell House Funeral Home to go towards burial expenses. Saffell House is in charge of arrangements.
