Obituary of Patricia Ann McIntire

Patricia Ann McIntire, 87, went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2021. Born May 17, 1934 in Urbana, OH to the late Robert Vaughn Couchman and Alice Louise Watson Couchman. She was a 1952 graduate from Concord High School. She was married to the late Gene Philip McIntire for 44 years. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Philip McIntire; three sons, Jeffrey Lee McIntire, Marvin Allen McIntire and one at birth; four grandsons, Chad Erik McIntire, Travis Michael Griffieth, Marvin Allen McIntire Jr. and Leonard Edward Gilliam lll; a brother, Richard Couchman; and a sister, Mary Lou Couchman. She will be lovingly remembered by her six surviving children, Gene Philip McIntire Jr. of Portsmouth, OH, Tonya (Elvis) Thompson of Lawrenceburg, KY, Tyla (Allen) Griffieth of Troy, OH, Tony (Melissa) McIntire of Bardstown, KY, Roger McIntire of Harrodsburg, KY, and Shawna (Leonard) Gilliam of Lawrenceburg, KY. She had 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, James Couchman of Urbana, OH; two sisters, Eleanor Dibert of Urbana, OH and Shirley Henry of Rosewood, OH. Patricia was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Harrodsburg, KY; she loved the Lord, her family, friends, cooking and her little poodle, Bella. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Revelation 21:4- “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
