Obituary of Kenneth Allen Barnette

Kenneth Allen Barnette, 75, passed away at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky on March 17, 2021. Kenneth was the husband of Carolyn Moore Barnette. Born in Anderson County, on June 3, 1945, he was the son to the late Harvey and Fannie Brothers Barnette. Kenneth is a life long resident of Anderson County. For the majority of his life he worked for GE in assembly. Kenneth was a car enthusiast; he loved cars and loved working on them. Because of his love for cars he belonged to the Wheels of Time car club. Kenneth loved his pets as well. Kenneth is predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Fannie Barnette; a sister, Virginia Peach; and brothers, Billy Barnette and Charles Barnette. He is survived by his daughter, Crystal Taylor (Eric); stepdaughter, Regina Brangers (Ray); sons, Jeff Barnette, Johnny Barnette and Kevin Barnette (Keena); a sister, Betty Rakes; a brother, Jackie Barnette (Garnetta); and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Saffell House Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday March 21, 2021. The Funeral Service will be held at Saffell House Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Sunday March 21, 2021 with a private family graveside following. Pallbearers will be Chris Barnette, Michael Barnette, Joshua Erisman, Timmy Lewis, Mike Peach, and Lane Barnette. The service will be conducted by Tony Andrade.
