Obituary of Carmen Elizabeth Bennett

Carmen Elizabeth Bennett, 61, passed away on August 11, 2020. Born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 3, 1961 she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Joyce Dodson Bennett. Carmen graduated from Valley High School in Louisville, Kentucky. She lived most of her life in Louisville but spent the last years living in Lawrenceburg. Carmen worked as a Caregiver for Home Instead Senior Care in Frankfort. She loved her grand babies and was a avid music fan (Queen). Carmen is survived by her sons, Skylar Budakov (Astin) and Steven Hartman; daughters, Sierra Hartman and Stephanie Hartman; sisters, Patty Schmitt (Richard), Bonita Miller (Tony), Mary Pezzullo and Jean Wojciechowski; grandchildren, Hunter Budakov, Sofia Budakov, Vivienne Budakov and Jayden Hartman. She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Joyce Bennett; brothers, Michael Bennett and Marty Bennett. Visitation will be held Friday, August 14, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Saffell House Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be following on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Saffell House Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Saffell House Funeral Home.
