Obituary of Albert Clayton Moreland

Albert Clayton Moreland 89, of 1060 Salt River road died December 1, 2016 at home. He is the husband of Alice Annette (Singleton) He was a Korean war veteran. Army and Marine. He loved carpentry, puzzles, and reading and retired from A.E. Staley Manufacturing Corp. of Decatur IL. He was the son of the late Rollie and Ivy (Carrier) Moreland. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter Teresa Denny and son Earl Singleton. Grandchildren, Brittani Corrington, and Patrick Moreland and numerous nieces and nephews. Albert is predeceased by a son Michael Moreland, a sister Sue Moreland, and brother Roy Moreland The memorial service will be Tuesday at 5:30 P.M. December 6, 2016 at Saffell House Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Anderson County Animal Shelter.
